About Noodle Neck House Collars
Noodle Neck is a one woman, and one hound small business on the Yorkshire coast making house collars for long dogs with long necks.
Every house collar is hand-crafted from premium paracord, they are lightweight, washable, and strong enough to outlast seaside sand and sofa scruffles. They’re perfect for lounging, zoomies, everyday ID.
Inspired by my own hound, Barney, a black silky noodle with the neck of a giraffe and opinions about style. He modelled the first designs, approved the comfort, and immediately demanded snacks.
What matters here:

I’m not a factory. I’m one person (and one greyhound) making collars in small batches from Scarborough. When you buy from Noodle Neck, you’re getting something woven by hand with more love than is probably sensible.
We only use premium materials
All Noodle Neck collars are hand-woven from premium 550 paracord which is super strong, washable, and colourfast. Hardware is welded metal for safety, chosen to be smooth and quiet on slim necks. Every join is heat-set and woven by hand, so your hound gets a collar that’s soft, durable, and made to last.
All collar designs and leads are tested by Barney our 37Kg CEO so you can be sure of their durability.
Our leads are made from super strong climbing grade materials including:
PPM Multicord
PPM cord is crafted from polypropylene multifilament and is super strong and versitile. It has a smooth, silky texture is lightweight and highly weather resistant, making it an ideal choice for outdoor use. Its heavy breaking load makes it perfect for dog leads. It also comes in lots of fun colours and designs.
Nylon
This rope is designed especially as a premium cord for dog leads. Nylon rope has a premium appearance and feel. It has a smooth and supple texture that feels comfortable to hold. Nylon is also known for its excellent strength and abrasion resistance, which makes it an ideal choice for making dog leads.
